Every public building is more than a structure: it represents an economic investment, a local identity and a commitment to citizens. However, the effective management of the maintenance of these assets is as crucial as their construction. It requires a long-term technical vision, rigorous planning and an intelligent use of data.
At Grupo Cubic, through a public tender promoted by the Diputació de Barcelona, we have been awarded the contract for the drafting of the Initial Maintenance Plan for Municipal Equipment of Vilassar de Dalt. This project is an opportunity to apply all our technical knowledge to the service of public management.
Drawing up an initial maintenance plan is not merely a way of fulfilling an administrative obligation. It is a strategic tool that enables municipalities to:
Inventory and diagnose the condition of their municipal facilities.
Schedule interventions in the short, medium and long term using technical criteria.
Anticipate investments and allocate financial resources efficiently.
Guarantee safety and functionality of public spaces.
Align actions with sustainability and energy efficiency goals.
The public-building maintenance plan allows municipalities to anticipate future costs.
At Cubic Estudi d’Enginyeria, we understand engineering as a transformative and strategic discipline, one that acts discreetly but with great impact. We are committed to useful engineering that strengthens urban resilience, improves the efficiency of public services and minimises future costs through technical anticipation.
We thank the Diputació de Barcelona for their trust and welcome the fact that more and more municipalities are integrating technical and maintenance criteria into their urban planning.
Because to maintain is not to repair: it is to anticipate, to manage with vision and to build the future from what already exists.
